singing is good. i like singing. i like good voices. the ones that can perform. the ones that have years of practice and work behind them. yes, i love celine dion.

but abrasive, raucous, cracked, throaty, croaky, dry, grating, gravelly, gruff, harsh, hoarse, husky, scratchy, thick voices - oh, i'm a sucker for them. albeit i don't like janis joplin. at all. what can i say, i have my quirks.

now, that we got that out of the way, let's move on. so, there's this show, "the voice", pretty much everybody knows about it. and, as rigged and lacking in fair play as it may be, there's no denial that there are some wicked voices to be heard in it.

so. here's someone that genocides pretty much every song she gets her voice on: juliet simms.

1. splitting "roxanne" open.

2. absolutely the best performance, delivery and voice that i've ever witnessed on this song.
